Vidya Subramanian Academy offers customized, online Tamil, Sanskrit, Kannada and Telugu language classes as well as Sanskrit Sloka & Tamil Chants - recitation lessons for students of all ages and levels.

Classes taught by teachers with high proficiency in Sanskrit (modules 1-6) and Tamil (modules 7-16)

Fee for entire module payable in advance after trial

Students given script in English and Devanagari (modules 1-6) / Tamil (modules 7-16) as well as reference audio for all slokas/chants in the selected module

Students may attend individually or in groups. For group lessons, students have to be present at a single location at the designated time

If syllabus is completed ahead of schedule, the remaining sessions may be utilized to learn other slokas

Sanskrit, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu Language Lessons
Our team of student friendly teachers has advanced degrees in Indian languages. The actual content of the live online lessons (emphasis may be on spoken, literary, writing) is customized to suit the student's interest. We work with all levels of students, and are happy to structure the course as a long term one or a short term module depending on your goals.
Sloka & Chant Modules
Students may sign up for any one or more of 16 different modules.
General beginner slokas – 2 parts of 16 sessions of 30 min each
Simple Slokas, Ashtakams, time specific slokas, Panchakams - Modules 1a and 1b

Bhagavad Gita – 16 sessions of 30 min each
Students may opt to learn any of the following 8 sub-modules (Gita Chapter combinations) in Module 2.
On completion of each sub-module, student may sign up for another set of Chapters from Module 2.

Vishnu Sahasranamam – 24 sessions of 30 min each
Students signing up for Module 3 will be taught to recite the complete set of Vishnu Sahasranamam slokas.

Lalitha Sahasranamam – 24 sessions of 30 min each
Students opting for Module 4 will be taught to recite the complete set of Lalitha Sahasranamam slokas.

Students signing up for Module 6 will be taught the entire set of Soundaryalahari slokas

Students signing up for Module 7 will be taught to chant the entire Tiruppavai set. This includes Tiruppaavai Thaniyans – 3 , Aandal’s Tiruppaavai – 1-30, Tiruppavai Vaazhi Tirunaamam – 2
